Meet Coach Andrea Michelle Olds Owner and Director of Bama Elites. It all started back in 2019 when she want to find a team for her son (Coach Jay) . When this program was created “Protect The BrotherHood” was then formed and instilled in every player within our program. Bama elites when from being Independent to PrepHoops and now on the PUMA circuit. the mission at Bama Elites is to continued to grow and expand every year, along with meeting the needs of all players and parents within our organization. Coach Michelle has many accolades to help support our program and with counseling services and much more for our past and current players.

Bama Elites Athletics would like to welcome Coach Arthur Shaw Jr. from Mobile, Alabama. In 2018, Shaw started his coaching career as a student assistant at the University of South Alabama for the men's basketball program.

He earned his degree in Sports Management at USA. During his time at South Alabama, he worked under Head Coach Richie Riley. While assisting at South Alabama, the program had three over .500 seasons and two 20 wins seasons for the first time since 2008. Additionally, six players went on to play professionally overseas and in the NBA. In 2021, Coach Shaw joined the staff at Baker high school in Mobile, Alabama as the assistant boys' basketball coach. In his first year at Baker, the Hornets finished with the best season in Baker history. During that season, Baker finished 31-4 overall, 10-0 in the region and earned a spot in the AHSAA final four. In his second season in 2022, Baker finished with a 25-7 overall, 6-0 in region play and an Elite 8 appearance. While coaching at Baker, Coach Shaw had the privilege of coaching one of the top players in the country, four-star Labaron Philon, now committed to the University Of Alabama.

Coach Shaw comes to Bama Elites with a focus player development with an emphasis on fundamentals and basketball IQ. One of his favorite quotes that he lives and coaches by is, "The most important thing is to try and inspire people so that they can be great in whatever they want to do." - Kobe Bryant.

The Elite brotherhood would like to introduce you to Coach Jalen Raby Co-director & Co-Owner of the program & Head Coach of Bama Elites 2030 PUMA team. He brings great diversity to the program helping to lead the program & teams into the right direction. Now going into his 3rd year coaching he is only looking to grow & improve his coaching prestige. Along with coaching his first year at his alma mater Pike Road High School He has been with this program for 6 years & has played & coached & directed the same program. Coach Jay’s mission is to continue to build great men because life is more than sports. We want to continue to build strong men in today’s time, we want to make sure these kids are ready for the life ahead of them and that they are secure within themselves and strong-minded.

Bama Elites family would like to welcome Coach Charles “Tripp” Johnson III as our 2028 (select team & our 2029 PUMA circuit team Head Coach. He is a former athlete & a former Bama Elite athlete. He was within our program for 4 years. He brings youth, knowledge & the standard to our program. While receiving offers from Marion Military institute & other schools. He decided to attend South Alabama for Criminal Justice. He is a well rounded coach & man, who brings great leadership & values to the program.
